RCTV Studios today announces several organizational updates as it enters a new chapter of leadership. Effective immediately, Deputy Executive Director Angela Merrill has been appointed Interim Executive Director. The Board of Directors has also initiated a formal search for RCTV’s next Executive Director.

We thank Phil Rushworth for his 26 years of dedicated service to RCTV Studios.

The Board of Directors remains committed to ensuring stability, transparency, and continued high-quality service during this period. Under Angela’s leadership, day-to-day operations will continue without interruption, and RCTV Studios’ mission—to inform, engage, and connect the Reading community—remains at the forefront of our work.
