Membership Classes

Studio A Production Series (Free with Membership)
Learn basic camera and audio skills while using the equipment in Studio A.  We will give you plenty of hands-on time to test your newly-acquired skills and gain the confidence to produce or crew a program using Studio A.

Studio A Lighting ($10.00)
Learn the proper way to light people and objects for television. Studio A Production is a prerequisite.

Studio B Chroma Key & Virtual Sets
(Free with Membership)
Learn the Tricaster studio system in our new green screen studio.  We will give you plenty of hands-on time to practice and become the one of the first producers to have green screen incorporated into your production.

Portable Camera (Free with Membership)
This class will teach you everything you need to know to begin recording your program in the field. Students will shoot a 2-5 minute short video, which can then be edited at the end of the Final Cut Pro Basics class.

Final Cut Pro Basics (Free with Membership)
Students will receive intimate hands-on training with Final Cut Pro. Focus will be on learning the interface, basic tools, file management and editing tips. Basic computer literacy skills are a prerequisite.

Adobe After Effects ($20.00)
The industry leading solution for creating sophisticated motion graphics and effects by blurring the line between 2-D and 3-D interfaces. This introductory class is designed for students new to the program with an interest in learning the basics of the interface and capabilities of the program in just a few short hours by creating something you can take with you and add to any project! Basic Mac computer literacy is a requirement and some Photoshop experience is recommended.

Adobe Photoshop for Video ($20.00)
This one session introduction to Adobe Photoshop will teach you how to make your own logo and other graphics for your show, as well as help make your video stand out from the rest.

How do I get my video online? (Free with Membership)
Learn how to export your project from Final Cut Pro to digital formats for use on Youtube, Vimeo or other online pages.

How do I create a video slideshow?  ($20.00)
Bring in your digital photos and learn how to create a slide show with music for your family memories.
